Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Nesgate for the use of the Nesgate browser extension, the Nesgate console (app.nesgate.com) and related services (together, “the Service”). When you create an account you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and, for organization accounts, the Data Processing Agreement. We record the version you accepted and when.

1. Accounts

2. What the Service does and does not do

Nesgate checks text and files in your browser before they reach AI tools and blocks, masks or warns according to your policy. Detection runs in the browser; only masked findings reach the console. No detection is perfect: Nesgate reduces the risk of data leaving through AI tools, but it does not guarantee that every piece of sensitive data is found, and it does not replace your own security program.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to monitor people without the notice and legal basis your law requires, to attack or overload our systems, to reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows, or to resell it without our written agreement. The browser extension, its detection rules and its code are licensed to you only to use Nesgate: you may not copy, modify or redistribute them, publish a changed version, or remove or work around its sign-in, plan or tamper checks. Organizations must tell their people that Nesgate is in use.

4. Trials, plans and payment

5. Your data

You keep all rights to your data. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. You can export or delete your organization’s data from the console at any time.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and announce planned maintenance in advance. Support is available from the console (Help). Target first-reply times depend on your plan and the urgency of the request.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other customers at risk; where possible we warn you first and tell you why. After termination we delete your data according to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms materially we publish a new version, email administrators and ask you to accept it in the console. Changes do not apply retroactively.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking to each other; if that fails within 30 days, the dispute goes to the competent court in Jakarta.
